broadcasted a new notification to invite online application forms
for the exam
known as National Entrance Screening Test (NEST). NEST qualified
participants will be able to get admission in to research programs. Those
candidates who possess all the required eligibility necessary to apply they
must submit duly checked Application Form for this test by following actual
process. Offline copy of form is also required to send to below address with
demand draft with other related documents copies.

Academic Record and
Age Limit
- Students must have completed 12th or equivalent exam with any combination of Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Biology subjects and candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam are eligible to apply.
- Candidates appearing in 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates born on or after 1 August, 1997 (for general and OBC candidates) are eligible to apply.
Application Fee:
Fee payment can be done through debit/credit card, net banking or through
demand draft of any bank drawn on the favor of NISER-NEST and payable at
Bhubaneswar.
- For (Male Candidates of General/OBC category): Rs. 700/-
- For SC/ST/PD and all female candidates: Rs. 350/-
Selection Process:
Admission will be done on the basis of their performance in National Entrance
Screening Test.
