- Good working experience in IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM preferably ArcSight/QRadar/RSA Envision, Creating Correlation Rules, more on data correlation and understanding the Impact of the alerts.
- Good experience on IDS/IPS alert monitoring tools – Preferably Tipping Point/Cisco IPS/Source Fire and understanding the correlation between both the devices and performing real time Security Analysis.
- Be able to do Event Correlation on the alerts from the security monitoring tools like SIEM
- Good knowledge on Networking
- Experience on managing the Symantec/McAfee Products like ePO, DLP, Antivirus and Vulnerability assessments, Understand the definition of the corporate security policy and be able to suggest improvements on the policies regarding IDS/IPS/DLP/Antivirus. Understanding on the impact of the security policy and communicating back to the customer
- Analyzing skills of various backup failure errors in Data Domain and Networker. Understanding of the alert management process
- Understanding of different hardware architecture and technical understanding of network topologies & devices. Installion and configuring of tape libraries
- Participate and manage calls with onsite escalation points/Customers/RCA reviews/High critical incident meetings etc.
- Be able to automate activities using tools/scripts
- Knowledge of Application environments like JBOSS, Java,.Net
- Good troubleshooting skills, handling of incidents/service requests
- Participate in change management, release planning and monitoring
- Participate in transformational initiatives and coordination with vendors
