Eligibility CriteriaRead all the lines shown below.

Nationality: Contenders should either be:
  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2001 are eligible to fill NDA 1 2018 application form.

Application Fee: General category has to pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee and SC/ST candidates and Sons of JCOs/NCOs/Ors etc are exempted to pay application fees.. Appointment Process: Qualified candidates in national defence academy & naval academy examination (I) 2016 will be called for SSB interview.

Syllabus: Examination is held on basic skills on Mathematics and General Ability Test. Mathematics includes many topics like Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability and Probability. General Ability Test contains English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History Freedom Movement etc. and Current Events.
