into being on 2nd June two thousands fourteen, with an objective of electricity to the public at
an affordable price. With its headquarters at Hyderabad, the Telangana Southern
Power Distribution Company Limited encompasses an area of five districts viz.,
Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Medak and Rangareddy, Catering to the power
requirements of 8 million consumers. TSSPDCL has a vast infrastructure facility
in its operating area with 1,338 Nos. of 33/11 KV substations, 2,039 Nos. of
power transformers, 720 Nos. of 33 KV feeders, 5,257 Nos. of 11 KV feeders and
around 2, 46,426 Nos. of distribution transformers of several capacities. Having
electrified 6,489 villages, 5,600 general hamlets, 2,059 tribal hamlets, 12,105
Dalit wadas and 5,806 weaker sections colonies, TSSPDCL is looking forward to
meet many challenges with promise to provide quality customer services via
innovatory programmes. The visitation of Telangana Southern Power Distribution
Company Limited is to enhance its performance and relieve stronger by the day
to offer its customers the best and value for money. Presently there is one
FORUM-I functioning in the TSSPDCL authority territory catering to the
consumers of three districts. The CGRF-I has been installed since January 2005
(two thousand five) and catering to the consumers of erstwhile APCPDCL. In two thousands eleven the Forum was bifurcated into 2 i.e., CGRF-I & II. The Jurisdiction of
CGRF-I is 3 districts i.e., Mahaboobnagar, Medak and Nalgonda.
