Scheme of Examination:
The written examination for various job posts will consist of –
1. STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’:
- General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning Ability/ General Science – 50 questions
- Subject Concerned – 100 questions
2. Junior Translator:
- General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning & Numerical Ability – 50 questions
- Hindi and English Language – 50 questions
3. Stenographer Grade II, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store
Assistant ‘A’:
- General Awareness/ General Intelligence/ Reasoning & Numerical Ability – 50 questions
- Hindi or English Language – 50 questions
4. Vehicle Operator ‘A’ & Assistant Halwai- cum-
Cook:
- General Awareness/ General Reasoning/ Arithmetic/ Numerical Ability – 100 questions
- General English – 25 questions
- Questions related to job – 25 questions
Selection Method: The
selection process in the organization will comprise of these rounds-
- Written Examination
- Document Verification
- Trade/ Skill Test
- Personal Interview
DRDO SET Exam Pattern:
- The DRDO Scientist Entry Test (SET) examination is of 03 hours duration.
- Each candidate appearing for the Test will be given one Question Booklet containing objective type questions, in two separate sections.
Section 'A':
- Section 'A' will consist of 100 questions to test the candidate's knowledge in the subject as per syllabus given in Section V of this brochure.
- Each question will have 4 choices one of which will be correct.
- Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks.
- For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Section 'B':
- Section 'B' will consist of 50 questions to test the candidate's aptitude relevant to Applied Research & Development.
- Each question will have 4 choices one of which will be correct.
- Each correct answer will fetch 2 marks.
- For each incorrect answer, 1/2 mark will be deducted.
- Section 'B' will test the candidate's aptitude relevant to Applied Research & Development.
The distributions of 50 questions for Section 'B' are given
below:
- Logical Relations - 10 Questions
- Spatial Reasoning - 10 Questions
- Concept Formation - 10 Questions
- Abstract Reasoning - 10 Questions
