written exam. Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is commenced by
Government of UP and board jointly to test the skills of appliers for available
post of Primary Stage and Elementary Stage for schools in UP only. Anyone can
qualify in this test if work hard with the help of actual syllabus and patter

Eligibility Criteria for UPTET
Educational
Qualification - To apply job seekers must have qualification as shown here:
For Primary Level teacher: Applicants must have
Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special
education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary
education.
For Upper Primary Level teacher: Job seekers Should
possess Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with one year degree in
elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in
BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT.
Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on marks achieved in written exam.
UPTET Exam Pattern - Uttar Pradesh Teacher
Eligibility Test (UPTET) exam comprises of multiple choice type of questions
(MCQs). There will be two papers that will be held in two shifts:
Paper I (Primary
Level): One who aims to be a teacher for I to Vth Class.
Paper II (Upper
Primary Level): One who aims to be a teacher for VI to VIII Class.

FOR Primary Class (1ST TO 5TH Class)
- Teaching Methodology and Pedagogy: 30 Questions
- Comprehension: 30 Questions
- General Grammar: 30 Questions
- Language: 60 Questions
FOR Upper Primary Class (6ST TO 8TH Class)
- Teaching Methodology and Pedagogy: 30 Questions
- Comprehension: 30 Questions
- General Grammar: 30 Questions
- Language: 60 Questions
All Questions will be of OBJECTIVE TYPE.
How to Apply for upbasiceduboard.gov.in UPTET
- First of all appliers need to visit the official website of UP Basic Education Board that is upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
- On the home page see “Apply Online” link
- Read the instructions carefully.
- Now enter on Registration link and fill the form properly.
- Upload your recent scanned photograph and signature.
- Read the filled details and print out the Challan Form.
- Pay application fee in SBI branch.
- Submit the filled form and take the hard copy of it for future use.
