Seat Reservation:
- 15% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC).
- 5% seats are reserved for students from ST category
- 25% seats are kept for Defense including Ex-serviceman
Eligibility Criteria: Check all the headings

Educational
Qualification: Candidates must be 5th pass for class 6th admission and 8th
pass for 9th class admission from any approved board of education.
Age Criteria: Candidates those who are
going to take admission in VI standard must be born in between July 2, 2005 to
July 1, 2006. Candidates who wish to take admission in Sainik School Nalanda in
IX standard must be born in between July 2, 2002 to July 1, 2003.
Scholarships: Candidates are offered
scholarships depending on their parent’s income and talent.
Application form fee:
- General and Defense Category: Rs 400/-
- SC/ST category: Rs 250/-
Selection
Method: Selection of aspirants will be based on performance in entrance exam
followed by interview. Thereafter based on interview at Sainik School Nalanda
and a Medical Exam is going to be conduct as per merit list.
