NERIST Entrance Exam -1 Pattern

  • NEE 1 consists of objective type questions.
  • Total marks for NEE 1 is 150.
  • You will be given 3 hours for NEE 1.
  • There is negative marking as well in NERIST Entrance exam-1.
  • 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • There will be total four sections in NEE-1.
  • Those sections are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and mathematics.
  • Physics, chemistry and biology contains 25 questions each and each question carries 1 mark.
  • Mathematics section contains total 50 questions in which 25 questions carry 1 mark and other 25 questions carry 2 marks each.

NERIST Entrance Exam-2 Pattern

  • NEE 2 consists of objective type questions.
  • Total marks for NEE 2 is 150.
  • You will be given 3 hours for NEE 2.
  • There is negative marking as well in NERIST Entrance exam-2.
  • 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • NEE-2 is conducted for three streams students.
  • For PCB/PCM candidates there are three sections in the paper.
  • Those three sections are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Physics and chemistry sections contain 45 mark each.
  • 25 questions from each section carry 1 mark and 10 questions carry 2 marks each.
  • Biology/Mathematics section contain 60 questions.
  • 30 questions carry 1 mark each and 15 questions carry 2 marks each.
  • Those candidates who wish to take NEE-2 for NERIST certificate or ITI they will be having four sections in their exam.
