Salary: Appointed appliers will get Rs. 15, 600 – 42,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- per month.
Educational Record: Applicants must Degree in
Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized
university. Applicants should be able to read, write and speak in bengali is an
essential qualification.
Age Limit: Age of
candidates should not be cross 36 years and Upper age limit is
relaxed up to 5 years only to S.C. and S.T. category candidates of WB and 3
years for O.B.C. (category ’A’ or ‘B’) of WB.
Application Fee: Applicants
are required to pay Rs. 210/- + Service Charge Rs.5/- for online payment
through debit/ credit card plus 12.36% of service charge or Service Charge Rs.
5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only for payment through
Bank Counter. Candidates belong to SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with
disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% doesn’t need to pay fee.
Method of Selection: Selection
of candidates will be based on the basis of their marks obtained Screening
Test/Written Test. The Commission may fix qualifying cut-off marks for all the
categories of vacancies in each level of examination i.e. written, interview
and in aggregate.
