ITI Admission Online Registration application form from the last week of May. Such students who are eligible to get Admission in any of the trades such as General Carpenter, Sheet Metal Worker Operator, Dress Making, Electronic Mechanic and others in Industrial Training Institute Delhi for the academic year they must applicants latest by 2nd to 3rd week of June. Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification for DU ITI Admission: Contenders who wish to apply for Delhi ITI Admission for above mention trades they must have passed 8th standard / 10th standard/ 10+2 educational system with Math and Science from recognized school/ board.  According to the rules of organization candidates will be selected for said trades according to their qualifications.

Age Criteria for Delhi ITI Admission: Applying candidates for Delhi ITI Admissions must be completed 14 years. There will be no Upper age limit is prescribed for the candidates seeking admission in Government ITIs/BTC.

Medical Fitness For DU Admission ITI: All appearing candidates are required to submit the Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner as per Annexure- I at the time of admission.

Admission Process:
  • Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of NCT will final select the candidates on the basis of marks secured in the concerned entrance exam.
  • Well qualified candidates who score well, organization will prepare a merit list who satisfied the Department of Training & Technical Education and a certificate will be awarded from NCVT/SCVT according to the affiliation status of above mentioned trades.
  • After this all the enrolled candidates have to move for counseling process by carrying all the vital documents with them. Lastly contenders will be allotted different institutes after the verification procedure by the authority.

Calculation Of Marks Percentage: The following criteria to be followed while entering marks /grades for registration of various boards:-
  • If both marks and grades are given on the marks sheet for same subject then only marks are to be considered.
  • Only grades of CBSE mark sheets are to be filled in grades section of the online line admission software.
  • For other board’s marks sheet (except CBSE), the grades/grade points are to be converted to corresponding marks by using the conversion factors given in the mark sheet and filled in marks column.
  • If a candidate is absent in a subject then that subject is also to be considered for admission. In place of marks obtained the candidate should enter “A”.
  • If a candidate is fail in a subject then its marks are also to be entered.

Generation of Unique Rank for ITI Counseling: The rank of the candidate would be generated by calculating percentage of marks/grades secured by the candidate in qualifying examination and arranged in decreasing order. If two or more candidates are having same percentage/grade then, the following tie breaker criteria would be used in sequence to allot them distinctive ranks:-

Date of Birth: The candidate higher in age would be allotted the higher rank.

Science marks in descending order: If tie is still not broken then the candidate scoring higher marks in science would be allotted the higher rank.

Social Science: If tie is still not broken then the candidate scoring higher marks in social science would be allotted the higher rank.

Alphabetic order of Candidate Name: If tie is still not broken then the candidates name letters would be considered alphabetically in ascending order.

Father’s Name: If tie is still not broken then the candidates father’s names letters would be considered alphabetically in ascending order.

Mother’s Name: If tie is still not broken then the candidates mothers’ names letters would be considered alphabetically in ascending order. However, if still the tie does not break then CAO reserves the right to develop and implement further suitable criteria for distinguishing the rank of tied candidates.

Important instructions Concerning Delhi ITI Admission
  • After completing the process of online Registration, Students must report for verification to Delhi Government ITI by carrying the hard copy of Registration form and all the relevant original certificates along with verification fees.
  • Registration is single time procedure and it will be valid till counseling process.
  • Once the final Rank list displayed, aspirants are suggested fill the ITI/Trade according to their choices as per his/her preference.

How to Fill Delhi ITI Admission Form: Check these steps to apply online-
  • Students will have to visit the official website of Department Of Training And Technical Education that is itidelhiadmissions.nic.in
  • On the home page go to the “News & & Events” section which is located at the right side
  • Move to right link and read Notification very carefully.
  • Eligible contenders must move to the previous page and place your cursor to “Important Link” section.
  • Enter on “new Registration” link and fill all the asked details in proper manner.
  • Those candidates who are already registered they can login by entering user name and password.
  • Applicants who have forgot password they must press on the “Recover Password” tab or forgot registration number then follow press “Recover Registration No.” and enter all the details in prescribed manner.]
  • Go to submit button and get the password again
  • In this step students should enter on submit button.
  • Then pay the application fee and also upload all the important documents’ scanned copies
  • Finally appliers must submit it and can take a print of filled application form for next use.
