Railway Recruitment Board/Cell has found some lack in the
security of the passengers therefore at once the Railway Minster decided to

other positions. DG (Personnel) said in the meeting that the decision has been
taken to recruit 100% of junior engineers and senior section engineers in the
safety category. A large number of Assistant Station Masters and Guardians will
be recruited in the next three months. Along with it, 50% of Group-C posts will
be filled through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). The half-posts of
Group-D to fill the RRB and the remaining posts through Railway Recruitment
Cells (RRC), said by him.
All the present zones of Railway were also asked to take
services of retired employees on contract basis in order to overcome the
shortage of safety-class employees. He was made clear that his attitude towards
the working class employees' workshops should be positive for good result.
Instead of hanging interjonal transfer requests of employees, they should be
decided as far as possible within 15 days. The Board has instructed the local
pilots to immediately resolve the rest, accommodation and catering problems.
Ashwani Lohani, Railway Board Chairman has told that
departmentalism should not be obstructed in case of security. Officials should
go and talk to them between section engineers, junior engineers, taxman,
checkpoints, and try to understand their problems and needs. Ashwani Lohani
instructed all the offices, workshops, staff quarters, running rooms, rest
houses, RPF barracks to improve immediately.
Finally aspirants need to know that AIRF is known as All
India Railway Menace Federation as the general secretary Shivgopal Mishra
expressed happiness over these decisions. The General Secretary, All India
Railway Menace Federation said that two lakhs posts are vacant in the safety
category, but there are one lakh posts which cannot work without them. In
total, about 65 thousand employees will be recruited through RRC while 35,000
