This big move was necessary to be taken at a time when the
government has already given the same extension to the time limit for taking
advantage of various social welfare schemes. In a statement, the Finance
Ministry said that in order to facilitate ease of compliance with taxpayers,
the Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the deadline for connecting the

Consequences If Aadhaar Not Linked With Pan Card
- Accounts of the customers be non operative or freeze any time
- If the PAN card is not linked to the Aadhaar card, these will be valid at any time. After this, people will have to make a new PAN card while adopting the whole process.
- The salary of people who do not link to the PAN card Aadhaar card can be stopped automatically. Once the PAN is canceled, the salaried bank account will not be processed.

Last Date Extended Till 31st December: There is still doubt among
people on the last date of linking the PAN card to the Aadhaar Card. Meanwhile,
the Union Finance Ministry has clarified that the date for linking the Aadhaar
card and PAN or bank with regards to social sector schemes has been extended
till December, whereas for PAN filing for ITR filing or other non-social
schemes, There is no change in the date of linking.
It is revealed that if the Aadhaar number is not linked to
the PAN card before July 1, the PAN card will be invalid. Let us know that in
fact, it is important to link the PAN card and Aadhaar number from July 1.
After which the PAN numbers which were not linked to the Aadhaar number, the
PAN card itself will not be illegal. The Central Government can announce a
date, even after the PAN card is not linked to the Aadhaar number you’re PAN
will become invalid. But the government has not yet announced this date.
