Nationality:
Indian nationality individuals are eligible. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will also be eligible for
admissions through AP EAMCET.
Education Required:
Qualified or appeared candidates in the final year of Intermediate Examination
(10+12th standard) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education,
Andhra Pradesh/Telangana with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry as
optionals or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering are
eligible. Candidates who have qualified any other examination recognized as
equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana
will also be termed eligible for admission.
OR
Those applicants who have passed or appeared at the final
year of the Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of
Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other
examination recognized as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education
and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
Age Requirements:
Applying contestant should be of 16 years of age as on December 31 of the year
of admission. As per AP EAMCET there is no upper age limit. For B.Tech
Dairy Technology, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech Food Science &
Technology, the candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December
31 of the year of admission. The upper age limit of the applicants belonging to
General category must be 22 years, while for SC/ST category candidates must be
25 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year.
Domicile
Requirement: All of the applying contestants should belong to the state
of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. It is important for the individual to satisfy
Local/Non-Local status requirements as per the state of Andhra
Pradesh/Telangana.
Required Marks:
In the qualifying examination, aspirants should have secured minimum 45%
aggregate marks (40% for reserved category) in the subjects taken.
