Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, who heads the
subcommittee, said that steps are being taken by the Andhra government to
impart skill development and training and create more job chances for young
candidates.
Earlier at a review meeting held at the Secretariat,
Mr. Lokesh asked officials to collect information about unemployed youth
available with all the departments, consolidate it and present before Chief
Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the review meeting that will be held soon.
Citing the West Bengal model, Mr. Lokesh suggested
essential changes and asked officials to start an employment bank where
unemployed youth can apply using their Aadhaar numbers.

rollout of the much awaited Unemployment Allowance Scheme soon after completing
background work by the officials.
The proposal to give Unemployment Allowance has been
hanging fire for a while, prompting the opposition to use the delay to attack
the ruling party.
