Name
of posts: Forest Rangers
Scale of Pay:
Hired Appliers will be given salary of Rs 22000/- to 87000/- and Grade Pay Rs.
10300/- under the provision of Rule (2) (i) of “I- Rules for appointment to the
Class of Rangers”. The Grade Pay, D.A. or any other amount subject to revision
by the Assam Public Service Commission.
Educational
Records: Contenders must have Bachelor’s
Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University
with at least in one of the following subjects Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry,
Computer Applications/ Computer Science, Environmental Science etc.
Age
Limitations: Applicants’
age must not be less than 21 years or more than 43 years against APSC Forest Ranger Recruitment. The upper age limit will
be relaxed in the case of Scheduled caste/ Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5
(five) years as per rules.
Application
fee: Candidates (Reserved Category) are required to pay application fee of
Rs.250/- and other SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates are required to pay fee of Rs
150/- in form of Original Treasury Receipt showing the name of the post and
deptt. and also full Head of Account “ Non tax Revenue, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE
