Educational RequirementsAppliers must have-
  • Bachelor’s or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent CGPA from recognized University/ Institutions by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
  • Contenders belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) category must have minimum 45% marks.
  • Candidates pursuing graduation (final year) and if their result are awaited can apply for CAT Exam.


Reservations: Reservation of seat for CAT exam is mentioned below categories wise. The categories of disability are:
a) Blindness and low vision
b) Deaf and hard of hearing,
c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy,
d) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness
e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d).

CAT Exam Centers: Following is the list of exam centres where CAT exam will take place. At the time of filling CAT Registration form candidates can select four Test Cities as per their preference. After the last date of registration, candidates will be allotted one among the 4 preferred cities and either of the two sessions. In the rare case that a candidate is not allotted any of the preferred cities, he/she will be allotted a nearby city.

How to apply for CAT: Dear students, the process is in circulation to submit the application form that is online.
  • First of all applicants need to visit the official site that is iimcat.ac.in
  • On home page go to “For Online Application” tab
  • All new user must enter on “Registration for new user” and already have account than press on “Sign in for existing user” link.
For New Users:
  • Volunteers need to login themselves by creating id and password.
  • Read details and then press on “login” tab.
  • Further fill all mandatory details in asked columns of the form.
  • Upload all required documents with it and make registration fee process
  • In the end enter on submit tab.
For Existing Users:
  • At first choose link to get application form
  • Candidates need to enter the asked details in proper manner.
  • Upload all required documents and scanned image of photograph and signature.
  • Make the fee process through proper mode.
  • At last recheck the details once and then press submit tab.
