Scheme
Educational Requirements: Aspirants must be
passed 12th Exam or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized education boards and and
at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Age Limits: Candidates age should be 17 to 19 and 1/2 years
(i.e. born between 02 Jul 1995 & 01 Jan 1998 (both dates inclusive).
Physical Standards: See below details

- Height and Weight: Minimum height -157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
- Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standards for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/ night blind.
- Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face or forearms.
Training: The training
will be beginning in December 14. Selected Candidates will be inducted as
Cadets for four year B Tech course in Electronics & Communication or
Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. During
the course, Cadets will be allotted Executive or Engineering including Naval
Architect specialization or Electrical Branch. On completion of the course, B
Tech Degree will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Details of Stipend: On successful
completion of training you will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenant (PB-3
Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-). The benefits of being an officer in the

How to Apply: Skilful and goal oriented candidates will have to
apply through online by visiting the official website which is nausena-bharti.nic.in. Go to online (e-application)
from the list. Fill the form appropriately and upload relevant documents. This
is the time to submit this error free form. Take print outs of it and keep it
safe for further use.
