Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA) has broadcasted an
updated notification to organize Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for
Lower and Upper
Primary Teachers vacancies. Assam TET Application Form will be invited soon for
the Registration of this teaching proficiency test. Eligible applicants should apply
to be short list for the appearance in this high level examination. Deserving
and genius applicants, who are willing to seat in Assam TET they can apply
against this notice of eligibility test for making career as teacher in entire
state. Dear aspirants at first set your goal to declare qualify in the test
then keep preparing till the day of exam. Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (Assam
TET) is commenced for the selection of teaching passion having applicants for
Primary Teacher of Classes I to V and for Elementary (Graduate) Teacher for
Classes VI to VIII.
To qualify in this exam participants will have to apply
successfully at first and then start the preparation as per the topics declared
in exam pattern and syllabus of Assam TET which is now a compulsory examination
to be considered for Government teacher jobs in schools set up by the
government and private managements.
Dates to deposit the application form through online will be
active form Second Week of January to Second Week Of February. Other

Educational
Qualification: Appliers must have-
Lower Primary Teacher: Candidates must have completed
Senior Secondary Class with minimum 45 % marks or equivalent and Two-year
Diploma in Elementary Education. OR B.A.
/B.Sc. or equivalent with at least 50 % marks from a recognized university.
Upper Primary Teacher: Applicants should have
completed their Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized
University with UP- TET/CTET or appear in the second year of two-year Diploma
in Elementary Education and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from
recognized institutes or University.
Age Limit:
Age of the appliers should be 18 years and it should not exceed 43 years. Age
relaxation shall be provided to the SC, ST (P), ST (H) & PH candidates for
another 5 years, as per Govt. of Assam.
Application Fee:
Application fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of
examination is Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only). Applicants can pay
application fee through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards.
Hiring Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in Assam
TET Examination followed by interview process. Candidates who are applying for
the jobs must have the good academic records, professional qualification and
excellence at NCC (B or C certificate), State level sports, cultural activities
etc.
Assam TET Examination Pattern
- The question paper of Assam TET will have two Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based Papers.
- There will be 4 options available in each question; you need to select one correct answer from that.
- For every correct answer, students will be awarded with 1 mark.
- Each paper will be of 200 marks.
- There is no negative marking that is no mark additional marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer.
- Candidates will be asked 100 Multiple Choice Questions based on General Studies and Current Affairs and 100 in Pedagogy and General English respectively.

Application Form:
- Teaching passion having appliers need to visit the official website that is www.rmsaassam.in.
- At first go to link as “Assam TET Application Form” on the home page.
- Enter on “Information Bulletin” link located on the page.
- Read the Assam TET notification carefully.
- Now come back to the previous page.
- Then select link “Application Form" link.
- Now enter your e-mail ID and a password, which may be different from your e-mail password.
- Press ‘Register’ tab and one verification link will be automatically sent to your e-mail ID.
- Check your email Id and verify it.
- Fill the Application Form carefully and correctly in an appropriate manner without any mistakes.
- Along with application upload scanned images of latest photograph & signature.
- Make payment of application fee and check form at once and press “Submit” button after completion of form.
- Take print out of online application form for future use.

Academic
Qualification: Appliers must have-
For Hindi Teacher Post: Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with
50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university or B.A
with Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T / B. Ed. degree from
any recognized University/institutions.
For Sanskrit Teacher Post: Shastri with 50% marks
having degree qualification from any recognized University or B.A with Sanskrit
as one of the subjects with 50% marks and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognized
University/institutions.
Age Limit:
Age must not less than 18 years of age and not more above 43 years. Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST(P),
ST(H) for another 5 years as per Govt. of Assam. Upper age limit may also be relaxed in case of candidates who are
working under the scheme of “Strengthening and Improvement of the Quality
Education in the State” or contractual terms for a maximum period up to 5 years
ans willing to take part in the instant TET.
