Educational Qualification: Applying
applicants must have qualified or appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination
(10+2 examination) from a board recognized by the Central Government as
equivalent.
Students who have registered
for/switched over to Common Proficiency Course with Board of Studies of ICAI.
Aspirants who revalidated his/her
registration to Common Proficiency Course from the concerned Regional Office on
or before the 3 years from the registration date.

Mode
of Payments: Candidates will deposit given above examination fee by using Online Payment
gateway facility with Visa/ Master/ Maestro Credit/ Debit Card.
Candidates need to submit the fee at the time of exam
registration.
Examination fees once paid will not be repaid under any
conditions.
Selection Process: Selection of the
candidates will be based on CA Common Proficiency Test.

CPT Exam Pattern
- The Common Proficiency Test will be held in two sessions consisting of 4 sections i.e. Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude.
- The Common Proficiency Test is a Paper-Pencil (PP) Mode exam.
- Question Paper Booklet of this exam will be provided in two languages i.e. English/Hindi.
- To qualify this examination, candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in the aggregate of all Sections.
- There will be negative marking of 1/4 Mark (one fourth) for each wrong answer.

How to Apply - Applicants may
apply online or offline so have a look written below structures.
Online Process
Step – 1 Creation of Account:
- Initially, visit the official website that is icaiexam.icai.org
- Now candidates need to go to “Login/ Register” tab and enter on “Register Now” button.
- Then Candidates need to fill the registration form without any mistake.
- Submit application form.
- After successful submission, students will get their user name and password through email.
- Then, login with their user name and password.
- Now, candidates need to fill the online application and finally proceed to the next step.
Step – 2 online payment of Examination fee:
- After filling the online application form, deposit examination fee through online mode within given time period.
- Then, take a print out of PDF containing the Barcode Number and Payment Transaction Details.
Step – 3 Submission of Printout of Online
Application Form:
- After successful payment of fee, take a print out of filled in online application form.
- If photographs/ signature are not appearing in the pdf of online application form then affix 2 passport size photographs and sign at the specific space.
- Then, get it signed by parent/guardian at the specified place and form should be attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/College.
- Now candidates need to attach the print out of fee payment with filled in application form.
- Finally, keep it in an envelope that should be super scribed as "Online Application Form for June CPT Exam" and send it at given below address by Speed Post/Registered Post.

Offline Process
- At first, candidates need to open official website which is icaiexam.icai.org
- On the home page, press on the appropriate link.
- Now students need to read official notification completely and very carefully
- Download the application form and fill it with all important details.
- Candidates need to affix your 2 passport size photographs on the specified columns.
- After that, make attest this completely filled application form attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/College.
- Students should attach the print out of PDF containing the Barcode Number and Payment Transaction Details with duly filled form.
- At last, keep it in an envelope super scribed with "Application for June CPT Exam" and send it at right address that are given below through Speed Post/Registered Post.
