Exam Pattern of Post Office Postman/ Mail Guard & MTS:
Paper pattern of UP Post circle Postman/ Mail Guard & MTS written test is as follows:
Written examination of UP Post circle will be multiple choice objective types. Question paper consist of four parts [Part A, Part B, Part C(i) & Part C(ii)] of 100 marks. Total duration allotted to paper will be of 02:00 hours (120 minutes) and there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.

Qualifying Marks for Postman/Mail Guard:

For General candidates:
Minimum 10 marks in each part that is Part A, B, C (I) and C (II) and 40% in aggregate
Applicants have to qualify in each part besides securing pr given aggregate marks. 

For OBC candidates –
Minimum 9 marks in each part i.e. part A, B, C (I) and C (II) and 37% in aggregate.
Contenders have to qualify in each part besides securing given aggregate marks.

For SC/ST candidates
Minimum 8 marks in each part i.e. Part A, B, C (I) and C (II) and 33% in aggregate.
Contenders have to qualify in each part besides securing given aggregate marks.
