Application Fees: Candidates need to
pay an amount of Rs. 150/-. However, reserved category contenders need to pay
Rs. 100/-. The fee is to be transferred via demand draft/ pay order of any
National Bank/ any commercial bank drawn in favour of “Chairman, Kanchrapara
Municipality” payable at Kanchrapara.
Selection
Procedure: Selection of the
candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in written test
followed by personal interview.
Written test will be conducted for 80 marks. Duration of written
test will be one hour.
There will be 80 multiple choice questions, carrying one mark
each covering the syllabus of general knowledge and current affairs, general
English, general science, history, geography and mathematics. Syllabus for the
post of Clerk & Pipe Line Inspector will be covered form Madhyamik and for
rest of the posts, class VIII. There will be no negative marking for wrong
answer.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview which will
be conducted for 20 marks which includes Computer Test for the post of Clerk
and Driving test for the post of Driver.
