DAAD Scholarship
German Academic Exchange Service Scholarship is going to
provide to those Indian Students are willing to study in a PG degree in
the
fields of science and engineering. DAAD Scholarship is available for those
Indian students who wish to Pursue Masters/Ph.D Courses in Germany with
confidence and sincerity. Such willing appliers who are excited to do an
internship at a German higher education institution or at a research institute

Amount of
Scholarship
- A monthly scholarship of 650 euros for UG students (the monthly installment will be calculated on a daily basis, i.e. 21.70 euros per day)
- A lump sum travel subsidy of 525 euros
- Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance covered by DAAD
- Participation in a meeting of DAAD scholarship-holders in Germany.
Internship
Eligibility for DAAD:
- Students who are in their fifth or sixth semester of a Bachelor’s programme or in their fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth semester of an integrated or dual degree programme are eligible to apply for it.
- Candidates should have aggregate marks of 85 % and above or CGPA 8.5 / 10 and above of completed semesters at the time of application.
- Students must be a registered student of his / her institution and acceptance cum invitation letter from a German professor for the internship.
- Candidates who have been awarded a (Working Internships in Science and Engineering) WISE scholarship previously cannot apply again.
Required Language
Skills: Candidates must have very good proficiency of the English language
and German language skills are not mandatory.
Selection Process:
Students’ assortment for fellowship will be based on their academic achievements
and Results will be announced by beginning of February.
Keep In Mind (Note): Internships
of less than two months duration cannot be supported or we can say that
Duration of fellowship is 2 to 3 months in the period between May and July.

- Select “Scholarship & Funding >> For India” link i.e. visible at left side of page.
- Choose “Scholarship overview, application requirements, application procedure” link from opened page.
- In this move enter on “Submitting Application Form” tab from menu bar and fill online application form with required information.
- Upload updated resume and submit it with-in given time period and get printout of it.
- Thereafter, you may also send hardcopy of filled application form along with filled certificate of enrollment, No Objection Certificate and Approval Form by German Host etc at address given below before the end date.
