Admission Notice
Required Education: Students must have done
their Class VIII from a Govt /recognized school before the date of admission to
a Rashtriya military school to take admission in Class IX.
No previous education qualification is mandatory For Class VI.
Candidate For class IX should have passed Class VIII from a
govt/recognized school before the date of admission.
For class IX, students if studying in Class VIII are eligible to
appear in Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test.
Age
Limit:
For Admission to Class VI (Boys): In
between 10 years to 11 years (born between 02 Jul 07 to 01
Jul 08, both days inclusive).
For Class IX (Boys):
In between 13 to 14 years (born between 02
Jul 04 to 01 Jul 05, both days inclusive).
For Class XI:
In between 15 to 16 years as on 01 Jul of the year of admission.
In upper age limit is Six months relaxation allowable
for the wards of personnel Killed in Action
Application Fee: Candidates
need to submit application fee through offline online mode by demand draft payable at
respective Rashtriya Military School in favour of “Principal, Rashtriya
Military School.
Candidates need to pay Rs. 550/-, Prospectus and Application
forms may be accessed by hand from any Rashtriya Military Schools
Those aspirants who belong to SC/ST category they need to buy
Prospectus and Application forms for Rs. 275/- only (including Rs 50/- Postage
Charge)
Selection
Process: Applicants will be appointed through Common Entrance Test
(CET) as well as interview, which will be organized at respective Rashtriya
Military School for selection of students?
Candidates who will be selected need to undergo medical exam and
those who will find medically fit only that candidates will be offered for
admission.
After the Interview, Final merit list will be prepared.

Common Entrance Test for admission to class VI and IX
is automated OMR based paper.

No written exam will be held for admission to class
XI.

In CET, questions will be asked from the subjects of
Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English of Class V Standard.

Reservation
of Vacancies:
70% for Wards of the Junior Commission Officers /
Army / Navy / Air Force (including Ex-Servicemen)

30% for Wards of the Officers of Army, Navy and AF
(including retired Officers) and Wards of Civilians,
|
50 Seats are reserved for Wards of the Service
Personnel Killed In Action (SPKIA).

15% and 7.5% Seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste
and Scheduled Tribe in all Categories.
