About Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana –“Saubhagya”: Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana is a goal to provide lighting every household belong to the inaccessible areas of the country.

PM Soubhagya Yojana Scheme is run by the nodal agency State-run Rural Electrification Corporation.


Purpose of Initiating Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana: Indian Government also facilitates the power supply of 200 to 300 Wp with battery bank with comprises of 5 LED lights, 1 DC fan and 1 DC power plug and a Repair and Maintenance (R&M) for 5 years to the remote and inaccessible areas of the country where un-electrified households are situated.

  • In Saubhagya Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana, remote area people will not subsidize for electricity consumption. Consumers will pay the bill according to their usage.
