- For sc category candidates 15% of the total seats are reserved and 7.5% seats for ST category aspirants.
- Now rest of 77% will be available out of which 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys from the Gujarat State, Diu and Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
- Rest of 33% seats will be left and it will be reserved for boys from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male population.
- 25% seats are reserved for wards of Defence personnel including ex-servicemen.
Educational Eligibility:
Candidates who want to get admission in upper class they have to qualify
previous year exams as given here.
- For admission into 6th standard: should have passed in 5th standard
- For admission into 9th standard: must have passed in 8th standard
Application Fee:
Applying students will have to pay the Sainik School Balachadi Admission

Minimum Qualifying
Marks: Candidates belonging to General/Defence Category should score
minimum 25% marks in each subject and aggregate marks must be 40%. Those who
belong to SC/ ST Category there selection will be done on the basis of
inter-se-merit which is relative merit among competing SC/ ST students against
vacant seats. Shortlisted candidates through merit list will be called to
appear for Interview and Medical Examination.
