Sainik School Trivandrum Entrance Exam
Seats Reservation:
- 15% of the total seats are booked for SC category
- 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for ST category
- Defence including Ex-Servicemen – 25% of the total seats
Eligibility:
Those students who want to get admission in class VI, they should be born in
between 02 Jul 2007 to 01 Jul 2008. Candidates who are willing to take admission
in class IX they must be born from 02 Jul 2004 to 01 Jul 2005 (both days
inclusive) and passed the VIII exam at the time of admission.
Selection Process:
About Written Test:
- A written test will be held on first / second Sunday of January every year.
- The Question papers for class IX will be in English only.
- The syllabus and question pattern given are subject to changes from time to time.
Interview & Medical Test:
The boys who will be successfully declared qualify in the
written test are required to appear for Interview process and Medical Test on
date scheduled by Selection Board. It is to be noted that detailed information
regarding qualifying medical standards will be announced later.
