IET Scholarship
Institution of Engineering and Technology is one of the
leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community
has
announced a new notification to invite the Application Form through the Online.
Such participants who possess entire eligibility for IET Scholarship they will
have to submit their Application Form in the month of March/ April.
Selection will be done on the basis of merit in four stages of selection
process. IET Scholarship is one of the awards which is provided to those
students for engineering and technology profession to providing them financial
support throughout university.

Scholarship Eligibility criteria:
- Scholarship will be provided to the students of 2nd and 3rd year B.Tech programmes as well as for Lateral entry students who join B.Tech programme in 2nd year.
- Second and third year full time regular UG Engineering programme student from an AICTE/UGC approved institution.
- Students are required to complete all regular credit courses in a single attempt.
- Candidates have to secure at least 60% in aggregate for the semesters cleared so far or corresponding to CGPA of at least 6.5 in a 10 point scale in UG.
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) marks should be above 60% or of equivalent grade to apply.
- No age limit.
- Students who participated in the previous year Scholarship award can also participate provided they were not the National level winner or Runners up.

Stage 2: IET Scholarship Test Online:
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email.
- IET Scholarship Exam will be conducted from anywhere in India at their convenience.

Stage 3: Regional
Level Assessment (Presentation on a Given Topic)
- Students will be selected on the basis of cut off marks in Stage 2.
- Shortlisted contenders have to give a presentation on a specific topic that will be given by the Jury members.
- Topic will be focused on solving a currently societal challenge, specific to the region.
- Topic will be communicated to the contestants at least 10 days in advance to allow them enough time to prepare.
The Regional
Assessment will be conducted in the respective 4 regions:
- Regional South
- Regional North
- Regional East + North East
- Regional West
Stage 4: The
National Finals (Presentation on an Engineering Problem)
- Qualified candidates in Stage 3 will be selected for National Finals.
- Afterwards, make presentation on vision and solution for an engineering problem that is relevant to the society.
- National Finals includes Group Discussion (GD) among the finalists.
- Topic for this GD will be given by the jury on the day of the National Finals.

- Motivated applicants will have to visit the official website of Institution of Engineering and Technology that is www.theiet.org
- On the home page press on to “Awards and Scholarship” link.
- In this step enter on link as “View the IET Awards Brochure”.
- Select Awards and Scholarships brochure link on this new page.
- Download the PDF and read the complete notification carefully.
- Eligible students should go for submitting online application form
- Registered candidates have to IET Scholarship Login by entering some details.
- New users have to go for IET Scholarship Registration
- Fill form carefully and upload documents
- Recheck the complete form and enter on the “Submit” tab.
- Finally take a print out of submitted form for future use.
