Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of performance written Literacy Test and Driving Test (Trade Test).

Karnataka Postal Service Driver exam pattern:
A.Literacy Test
B.Driving Test (Trade Test)
I. The candidates will be subjected to a Literacy Test of the level of 8th Class covering the following subjects/topics.
  • One paper consisting of Part-A (Arithmetic) and Part –B (Kannada writing)
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Objective – of 01 Mark each
  • Duration of Written Test will be 90 Minutes
  • Part C-Kannada Reading Test-on completion of written test till the test is completed for all the candidates.
II.Qualifying Marks in the Literacy test: The minimum qualifying marks in each part are as follows.

III. Total marks for Literacy Test-100
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40% marks for UR, 37% marks for OBC and 33% marks for SC/ST candidates in aggregate (marks mentioned in part A, B & C above).

IV. The Max/ Min marks in respect of Driving Test (Trade Test) are fixed as follows:
  • Total Marks for Driving Test: 60
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR-24, OBC-22 and SC/ST-20

  • Date to download the admit card: 15 days before exam
  • Commencement of Examination: As soon as possible
