Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has given an honor to commence the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) this time by
declaring the recent notification by the common agreement in a meeting. Only error free Online Application Form is invited for the registration of JEE Advanced. Eligible students will be able to apply for Joint Entrance Examination through online using the activated link soon. Nationality: Aspirants need to check-

QualificationsCandidates must check this-
To appear in JEE Advanced exam, India nationals (including OCI/PIO) are required to qualify in JEE Mains Exam.

Performance in JEE Mains: Participated candidates in Joint Entrance Examination should be among the top 220000 (including all categories) candidates by securing positive marks in JEE main Paper 1.

Age Limit: Applicants who are going to apply they should be born on or after 1st October 1992. 5 years relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PwD categories candidates. These candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1987.

JEE Number of Attempts: Contenders can appear for IIT JEE Exam a maximum of two times in a consecutive year. Candidates appearing for the first time in JEE Advanced are also eligible to appear in JEE May Exam.

Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent): Contenders should appear for the 10+2 or equivalent examination for the first time in either year last year. Those 10+2 or equivalent examination result, they are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

Performance in 10+2 or Equivalent Examination: Applicants have to score minimum 75% aggregate marks (65% in case of SC/ST/PwD category) in 10+2 or equivalent examination. Candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of qualified candidates in their particular 10+2 or equivalent examination. Those who appeared in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in this year but reappeared, the best of two performances will be considered.

Application Fee: Fee for JEE Advanced is to be paid through online mode by using (debit card & net banking) or offline mode through SBI Challan. Aspirants are required to check this table:

Exam Pattern: JEE Advanced will be held via online mode that is computer based test. Joint Entrance Examination comprises of two papers (Paper 1 & 2). Candidates have to attempt both 2 papers that are JEE advanced paper 1 and 2 as per JEE advanced weightage. Question paper will set in English & Hindi Language applicants will have to option to choose their mode of language.  Total time duration to complete exam is 3 hours.   • Online Registration Starts: 4th week of April
  • Online Registration Closes: 1st week of May

How to ApplyApplicants who are keen desired to get further education through this hub, they need to follow these steps:
  • At initial applicants should visit the official website that is www.jeeadv.ac.in
  • On the home page go to “JEE advanced information bulletin” link.
  • By selecting suitable link for JOSSA JEE Advanced exam PDF notice will appear
  • Enter on link as ‘Apply Now’ and again go to ‘Register’ button.
  • Fill registration form with required information and pay required fee.
  • After filling the details, press on to ‘Submit’ button.
  • Now students should take hard copy of submitted form and keep it secure for further use.


Documents Required For JEE Advanced Registration:
  • Passport sized photograph and signature
  • Birth certificate or class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it
  • Class XII or equivalent examination certificate (for applicants who appeared in the qualifying exam)
  • If the name of the candidates does not match with class X certificate, a gazette notification indicating the change of name.
Required Size:
  • Size of Photograph must be between 4KB to 10KB
  • Size of Signature must be greater than 1KB and less than 30KB
  • The certificate image must be greater than 100KB and less than 300KB
