This commission has made a decision that they will increase the number of polling booths in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The state election commission has come to the decision to increase the number of polling centers in the state and has invited suggestions or objections in these public and political parties up to July 1. It said that the commission is planning for the new polling centers in the constituencies where there are more than 1,500 registered voters available. Meanwhile, District Magistrate D K Singh has said top the reporters that 50 new booths would be established in the district. He said that polling booths in six constituencies-Muzaffarnagar, Budhana, Purkazi, Khatoli, Charthawal and Midanpur- would be raised from 1,769 to 1,819 booths.

But from now onwards we are going to severely enforce the rules which allow maximum voters of 1,200 voters in every village booth, and 1,400 voters per booth in city which is said by B B Swain, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Gujarat.
