Applicants can apply through the Online Form Process. Hey guys this is a distance education program avails Engineering degrees / diplomas recognized by PSC, UPSC, Indian Govt, All State Govt and AICTE etc. It is a graduate engineering degree equivalent to B.Tech/ B.E. of any Indian institution.

Educational Requirements: All those
applicants who are applying for AMIE should be Intermediate/ Class 12th
passed out with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics obtaining minimum of 45%
marks or should have three year polytechnic diploma from any branch of
engineering.
Necessary Qualification to
Apply: All members (Technician/Senior Technician/Associate etc) of Institution
having valid membership number. Candidates got their membership no. and waiting
for ID card. ID card is necessary to show at the exam hall only
Fee for Examination: The candidates
will have to pay Rs 2000/- as the Examination fee for participating in any
Indian centers and they will have to pay 150 USD for outside India. The exam
fee is same regardless of the number of subjects you appear at a
time/chance.AMIE Examination fee must be paid in the form of Demand Draft only
which should be drawn in favour of “The Institution of Engineers (India)”,
payable at “Kolkata”. Cheque/Money Order etc are not acceptable.
Method of selection: The candidates
will be selected through entrance exam. A Merit list will be prepared base on
the percentages for making admission.

How to apply: Those students
who are going they may follow following steps:
- All wiling and qualified aspirants will have to download Application Form Online at amieindia.in.
- Now take a print out of it.
- Draw Demand Draft for exam fee through the process mentioned in the exam fee section previously.
- Fill your ST/T No. and name in the reverse side of the DD
- Choose an examination centre you preferred and note-down the code no. of the centre.
- Fill up the examination form. Enter the accurate DD details and various exam related codes
- Keep a photocopy of filled in exam form and DD for future uses.
- Application Form completed in all respects should be received at right address.
