Exam Pattern

that the Indian Government has changed the examination pattern. Those who do
not have the information of the new pattern do not worry because here we will
tell you the entire Railway Examination Pattern and syllabus.
- There are total four sections in the Indian Railway Examination.
- Those sections are: Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness and General Science.
- Quantitative Ability carries 20 questions.
- Reasoning section carries 25 questions.
- General awareness section carries 30 questions
- General science carries 25 questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- Total time duration for the Indian Railway exam is two hours.
Marking
scheme of Indian Railway Examination:
- Candidates will be given 1 mark for every correct answer.
- Candidates need to pay the penalty of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
- Candidates will be given zero marks for un-attempt questions.
