Before place you in this organization lets tell you something about this force. Here it is- Central Reserve Police Force is the largest Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) of the world. Raised as the Crown Representative Police on 27 July 1939 with one battalion, the Central Reserve Police Force today is the largest CAPF in the world with over 230 battalions.
The CRPF is the main Force of the union of India entrusted
with maintaining and safeguarding the internal security of the Country. CRPF
protects the government sector organizations by appointing dynamic and healthy
applicants as per skills they possess for best position available. Dedicated
and sensible job fighters apply at first for the target post and then apply
through proper channel.
The recruitment will be done on the basis of the Rally and
other System. The range DIG with the approval of ADG/ IG will send recruitment
teams to specified areas twice a year in the month of April-May and October-
November. The Board of officers will consist of a Commandant, two gazetted
officer including a Medical Officer and a Co-opted member.
Ambitious individuals will be recruited on the basis of
written test, physical test, medical test, trade test, typing test in the
respective categories. Candidates must have good medical standards and eye
vision. The eligibility such as age, educational qualification, experience
should be verified from the original certificate produced by the candidates.

Assistant Commandant:
On the basis of Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview
The written exam consists of two papers totaling 300 marks
- Paper I: General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Ability (200marks).
- Paper II: Essay in Hindi or English, Precise writing (English) and comprehension of given passage in English (100 marks).
- 100m. Race to be completed in 16 seconds (Men) and 18 seconds (Women)
- 800m. Race to be completed in 3 min (Men) and 4 min. (Women)
- Long Jump: 3.50m for men and 3 m for Women.
- High Jump: 1.05m for men and 0.90m for women.
- Short Putt (7.26 kg): 4.50m. for men only
Medical Officers:
Physical Standard
- Height: 157 Cms. relaxable by 2 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalis, Kumaonees,Dogras, Marathas and 3 Cms in respect of Adivasis and female candidates.
- Chest: 77 Cms. unexpanded and 82 Cms expanded.
- Weight: Proportionate to the height and age
Sub Inspector: On
the basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test and Interview
The candidates who on screening are found medically fit are
allowed to appear in Physical Efficiency Test. The test consists of:
- 1 mile run in 6.5 minutes
- 12 feet long jump in three chances.
- Paper 1: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and Numerical Ability
- Paper 2: Language comprehension and communication writing skills.
Constable: On the
basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test and Interview
The candidates who on screening are found medically fit are
allowed to appear in Physical Efficiency Test. The test consists of:
- 1 mile run in 6.5 minutes
- 12 feet long jump in three chances.

Candidates, who are found fit in eligibility and PET will be put through
respective Trade Test. Test is to be prescribed as per requirement of the job.
